Lactation Consultant RN

Responsibilities:

1. Provide lactation consulting services to mothers and newborns
2. Develop individualized care plans to assist mothers in achieving successful breastfeeding
3. Use clinical and critical thinking skills to assess, diagnose, and treat breastfeeding challenges
4. Educate and provide support to mothers and newborns on breastfeeding techniques and challenges
5. Provide guidance to mothers on how to care for and feed newborns
6. Monitor and document mothers’ progress with breastfeeding
7. Collaborate with healthcare professionals on breastfeeding-related matters
8. Maintain a clean and organized work environment
9. Remain up-to-date on industry developments and best practices
10. Participate in professional development and continuing education opportunities
