  1. Develop and maintain positive and productive relationships with labor partners, including unions and employee representatives.
  2. Serve as a key point of contact for labor-related matters and act as a liaison between management and labor partners.
  3. Advise and counsel management on labor relations issues, including contract interpretation and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  4. Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and issues related to labor relations and propose recommended solutions.
  5. Facilitate communication and collaboration between labor partners and management to promote a culture of mutual respect and understanding.
  6. Negotiate collective bargaining agreements and other labor-related contracts, ensuring fair and equitable treatment for employees.
  7. Monitor and track labor-related grievances and provide guidance to management on resolution strategies.
  8. Develop and deliver training programs for management and employees on labor relations policies, procedures, and best practices.
  9. Stay informed about changes in labor laws and regulations and provide guidance to ensure compliance.
  10. Collaborate with other departments, such as human resources and legal, to address complex labor relations issues.
  11. Represent the organization in labor-related proceedings, such as arbitration and mediation.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve labor relations strategies and practices to support the organization's goals and objectives.
  13. Maintain accurate and detailed records of labor relations activities and provide reports as needed.
  14. Serve as a resource for employees and management on labor relations matters, providing guidance and support as needed.
  15. Uphold the organization's values and promote a positive and inclusive work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Labor Laws And Regulations: A Labor Relations Consultant V Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Federal, State, And Local Labor Laws, As Well As Collective Bargaining Agreements And Other Regulations That Govern The Employer-Employee Relationship.

They Should Have Experience In Conducting Investigations, Evaluating Evidence, And Making Fair And Timely Decisions.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Job Requires Frequent Interactions With Various Stakeholders, Including Union Leaders, Employees, And Management. A Successful Consultant Must Have Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Build Relationships, Communicate Effectively, And Facilitate Discussions.
