  1. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for KPHC/EPIC/EMR applications used by healthcare professionals.
  2. Ensure the proper functioning of systems and applications to support high-quality patient care.
  3. Respond to and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  4. Collaborate with other IT team members to identify and address system and application issues.
  5. Train and educate healthcare professionals on the use of KPHC/EPIC/EMR applications.
  6. Document and maintain records of technical issues and resolutions.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and updates in KPHC/EPIC/EMR applications.
  8. Monitor system performance and proactively identify and address potential issues.
  9. Work with vendors and third-party providers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  10. Participate in the implementation of new systems and applications.
  11. Provide excellent customer service to healthcare professionals and address their technical needs.
  12. Adhere to all security protocols and regulations to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of patient information.
  13. Continuously improve and optimize system and application performance.
  14. Communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management regarding technical issues and resolutions.
  15. Keep accurate and up-to-date documentation of all technical processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Kphc/Epic/Emr Applications: The It Support Technician Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Kphc/Epic/Emr System And Its Various Modules, Including Patient Registration, Scheduling, Clinical Documentation, And Billing. They Should Also Be Familiar With Troubleshooting Common Issues And Providing User Support.

  • Technical Proficiency: This Position Requires A High Level Of Technical Proficiency, Including Knowledge Of Hardware, Software, And Networking. The It Support Technician Should Be Able To Troubleshoot And Resolve Issues Related To Computers, Printers, Servers, And Other It Equipment.

  • Experience In Healthcare Industry: A Background In The Healthcare Industry Is Essential For This Role. The It Support Technician Should Have Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably With Knowledge Of Hipaa Regulations And Healthcare Data Security.

  • Customer Service Skills: As A Support Technician, The Ability To Provide Excellent Customer Service Is Crucial. The Candidate Should Have Strong Communication Skills, Be Patient, And Have The Ability To Explain Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Users.

  • Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills: The It Support Technician Should Have Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills To Quickly Identify And Resolve Technical Issues. They Should Also Have The Ability To Think Critically And Troubleshoot Complex Problems Related To The Kphc/Epic/Emr System.
