Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Infusion Therapy Staff Nurse to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As an integral part of our patient care system, you will work closely with our team of health care professionals to provide quality care to our patients. You will take responsibility for administering medications and other therapies through intravenous, intramuscular, or subcutaneous injections and offer emotional support for our patients.The ideal candidate will bring a passion for patient care and a commitment to providing superior service. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent assessment, communication, and problem-solving skills. You should also be able to work independently and collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.The required qualifications for this position include: - Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in an acute care setting- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field- Knowledge of IV therapies and patient assessment- Ability to maintain standards of patient care- Excellent communication skills- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionalsIf you are passionate about delivering quality care to our patients and have the qualifications we seek, we invite you to apply for this rewarding role.

Responsibilities:

  1. Administer medications and other therapies through intravenous, intramuscular, or subcutaneous injections.
  2. Provide emotional support for patients.
  3. Assess patients' needs and develop individualized care plans.
  4. Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
  5. Maintain standards of patient care.
  6. Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  7. Work independently and collaboratively with healthcare team members.
  8. Document medical information and patient care in electronic health records.
  9. Maintain current licensure and continuing education requirements.
  10. Comply with regulatory and professional standards.
