  1. Conduct research and analysis on current and proposed healthcare policies to identify potential impact on Kaiser Permanente and its members.
  2. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather insights and perspectives on healthcare policies and their implications.
  3. Develop and present recommendations based on research findings to inform decision making and policy development.
  4. Monitor and track legislative and regulatory changes related to healthcare policy at the local, state, and national levels.
  5. Serve as a subject matter expert on healthcare policy issues, providing guidance and expertise to internal teams and external partners.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare industry, including government agencies, advocacy groups, and industry associations.
  7. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with healthcare policies and regulations.
  8. Participate in the development of strategic plans and initiatives to advance the organization's mission and objectives.
  9. Stay informed on emerging trends and best practices in healthcare policy and provide recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation.
  10. Represent Kaiser Permanente in policy forums and public hearings, advocating for the organization's positions and priorities.
  11. Prepare and deliver presentations and reports on healthcare policy issues to internal and external audiences.
  12. Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members on healthcare policy analysis and development.
  13. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to healthcare policy activities and initiatives.

Job Qualifications
  • A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Health Policy, Preferably Within A Large Healthcare Organization Such As Kaiser Permanente.

  • A Graduate Degree In Public Health, Health Policy, Or A Related Field.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Federal And State Healthcare Policies, Regulations, And Reimbursement Systems.

  • Demonstrated Ability To Develop And Implement Effective Health Policy Strategies That Align With Organizational Goals And Objectives.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Diverse Group Of Stakeholders, Including Government Agencies, Healthcare Providers, And Community Organizations.
