  1. Develop and implement strategies to advocate for policies that promote access to quality healthcare for all.
  2. Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments at the local, state, and federal levels.
  3. Identify key stakeholders and build relationships with government officials to influence policy decisions.
  4. Conduct research and analysis to support advocacy efforts and provide recommendations for action.
  5. Draft and review legislation, regulations, and other legal documents related to healthcare policy.
  6. Represent the organization in meetings, hearings, and other forums with government officials and stakeholders.
  7. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and consistency in advocacy efforts.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging issues related to healthcare policy and government relations.
  9. Provide guidance and counsel to leadership on potential impacts of proposed policies and regulations.
  10. Monitor compliance with applicable laws and regulations and advise on potential risks.
  11. Maintain strong relationships with relevant trade associations, coalitions, and other advocacy groups.
  12. Support the organization's public affairs and communications efforts by providing legal and policy expertise.
  13. Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for internal teams on government relations and healthcare policy issues.
  14. Prepare and present reports, presentations, and other materials to educate and inform stakeholders on key policy issues.
  15. Ensure all activities and communications are in line with the organization's values and mission.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Political Science, Public Policy, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Government Relations Or Lobbying, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Federal And State Healthcare Policies And Regulations.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Government Officials And Stakeholders.

  • Experience Developing And Implementing Government Relations Strategies, Including Drafting And Reviewing Legislation And Regulatory Proposals.
