Job Description

At Kaiser Permanente, we strive to provide excellent healthcare services to our members and communities. We are looking for a Financial Planning & Analyst to join our team of dedicated professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial background and analytical skills to review and analyze financial data, identify trends and recommend strategies to improve operational efficiencies.We are looking for a candidate who is a problem-solver, analytical thinker and well-organized. The successful candidate should be a self-starter who is able to work independently and as part of a team. They should be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders, and excel at building relationships.The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field and at least five years of experience in financial planning and/or analysis. They should be knowledgeable in financial and accounting principles, and have expertise in financial modeling and forecasting. They should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to think strategically and anticipate future financial trends is also essential.

Responsibilities:

  1. Review and analyze financial data, identify trends, and recommend strategies to improve operational efficiencies.
  2. Develop and maintain financial models and forecasting tools to analyze current and future financial performance.
  3. Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management.
  4. Monitor and analyze budgeting, forecasting, and accounting processes.
  5. Analyze financial data to develop strategies to improve financial performance.
  6. Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
  7. Implement effective financial controls and procedures.
  8. Monitor compliance with financial policies and regulations.
  9. Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations.
  10. Provide financial advice and guidance to management.
