Emergency Room RN

We are looking for an experienced Emergency Room RN to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As an Emergency Room RN at Kaiser Permanente, you will play a critical role in providing care to patients with life-threatening illnesses and injuries. We are seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable professional who can help patients and families make difficult decisions in a time of crisis.The successful candidate must possess current California RN licensure, current BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least two years of experience in a high-acuity emergency room setting. Responsibilities:

1. Provide care to patients with life-threatening illnesses and injuries in a high-acuity emergency room setting.
2. Educate patients and families on treatment options and help them make difficult decisions in a time of crisis.
3. Maintain current California RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certifications.
4. Communicate effectively with other members of the healthcare team.
5. Manage multiple tasks and prioritize patient care.
6. Perform triage and assess patient needs.
7. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and families.
8. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
9. Monitor patients’ vital signs and progress, and report changes to the medical team.
10. Document all patient care according to hospital policies and procedures.
