
Durational Speech Language Pathologist SLP - Inpatient / Outpatient

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' speech, language, and communication abilities.

- Provide evidence-based speech therapy interventions to patients of all ages and diagnoses.
- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care for patients.
- Educate patients and their families on communication strategies and techniques to improve communication skills.
- Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in patient care and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure a positive and collaborative treatment experience.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment for patients and staff.
- Continuously strive to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Serve as a mentor and resource for other speech-language pathologists and students.
Certification From The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (Asha).
Master's Degree In Speech Language Pathology From An Accredited University.
State Licensure As A Speech Language Pathologist.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Both Inpatient And Outpatient Settings.
Familiarity With Electronic Medical Records And Ability To Collaborate With Interdisciplinary Team Members.
