  1. Oversee and manage all aspects of perioperative services, including surgical procedures, recovery, and anesthesia services.
  2. Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure the delivery of high-quality and cost-effective patient care.
  3. Lead and mentor a team of healthcare professionals, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff.
  4. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
  5. Collaborate with other department heads and leaders to improve overall patient care and outcomes.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, staff, and patients.
  7. Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  8. Develop and manage the department's budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  9. Stay current on industry trends and developments, implementing best practices and innovative strategies.
  10. Serve as a liaison between the perioperative services department and other departments and committees within the organization.
  11. Implement and enforce safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
  12. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication.
  13. Participate in recruitment and hiring of new staff members.
  14. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to team members.
  15. Handle any issues or conflicts that may arise within the department.
  16. Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.
  17. Represent the organization at conferences, meetings, and other events.
  18. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards at all times.
  19. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and quality of care.
  20. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Perioperative Services, Including Management Or Leadership Role

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Current Healthcare Laws, Regulations, And Standards Related To Perioperative Services

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Build Relationships With Various Stakeholders

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing A Large Team And Implementing Process Improvements To Enhance Patient Outcomes And Operational Efficiency.
