  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive nursing professional development program that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.
  2. Identify the learning and development needs of the nursing staff and create effective strategies to address those needs.
  3. Collaborate with nursing leaders and other departments to ensure consistency and alignment of professional development initiatives.
  4. Plan and facilitate educational activities and events, such as workshops, conferences, and webinars, to enhance the knowledge and skills of the nursing staff.
  5. Evaluate the effectiveness of the professional development program through assessments and feedback from participants.
  6. Monitor industry trends and best practices in nursing professional development to continuously improve the program.
  7. Manage the budget for nursing professional development and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
  8. Recruit, train, and supervise a team of nursing educators and facilitators.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as universities and professional organizations, to provide additional learning opportunities for the nursing staff.
  10. Serve as a mentor and coach to nursing staff, providing guidance and support for their career growth and development.
  11. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to nursing professional development.
  12. Participate in strategic planning and decision-making for the nursing department.
  13. Represent the organization at conferences and events related to nursing professional development.
  14. Maintain accurate records and reports of the professional development program.
  15. Collaborate with HR to incorporate professional development opportunities into the organization's performance management process.
  16. Stay updated on advancements and changes in the healthcare industry and incorporate them into the professional development program.
  17. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes continuous learning and professional growth.
  18. Handle any issues or concerns related to nursing professional development in a timely and effective manner.
  19. Communicate regularly with the nursing staff and provide them with relevant updates and information related to professional development.
  20. Uphold the organization's mission, vision, and values in all aspects of the role.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of Master's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field.

  • Current Rn Licensure In State Of Practice.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Nursing Professional Development And Education.

  • Proven Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations And Accreditation Standards.
