- Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives for food and nutrition services that align with the mission and goals of Kaiser Permanente.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of food and nutrition programs, including menu development, procurement, food safety, and quality control.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards related to food and nutrition services.
- Lead and direct a team of food and nutrition professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to foster a high-performing and engaged workforce.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams within Kaiser Permanente to integrate food and nutrition services into overall patient care and wellness programs.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of food and nutrition services.
- Develop and manage budgets for food and nutrition services, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining high quality standards.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in healthcare food service, and make recommendations for improvement and innovation.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of food and nutrition services.
- Act as a spokesperson and advocate for Kaiser Permanente's food and nutrition programs, promoting their benefits and impact on community health and well-being.
Registered Dietitian (Rd) Or Certified Dietary Manager (Cdm) Certification.
Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition, Food Science, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Supervisory Or Managerial Role In Food And Nutrition Services.
Strong Understanding Of Nutrition And Food Service Regulations, Including Joint Commission And State Health Department Standards.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Other Departments.
