  1. Develop and implement food and nutrition programs that align with the organization's goals and promote health and wellness.
  2. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards for food services.
  3. Oversee the management and training of all food service staff, including hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the availability of high-quality and cost-effective ingredients.
  5. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create specialized meal plans for patients with specific dietary needs.
  6. Monitor inventory levels and budget to ensure efficient and cost-effective food service operations.
  7. Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain food safety and quality standards.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in food and nutrition to continuously improve services.
  9. Create and maintain policies and procedures for food and nutrition services, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
  10. Communicate and collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
  11. Participate in meetings and committees to provide updates and recommendations for food and nutrition services.
  12. Implement and maintain a customer feedback system to identify areas for improvement and address any concerns.
  13. Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, staff, and visitors by providing exceptional customer service.
  14. Represent the organization and promote its food and nutrition services in the community.
  15. Manage any food-related emergencies, such as recalls or foodborne illness outbreaks.
  16. Monitor and analyze food service data to identify areas for improvement and track progress towards goals.
  17. Lead and motivate a diverse team to maintain a positive and inclusive work environment.
  18. Collaborate with the marketing team to promote food and nutrition services and attract new customers.
  19. Stay updated on industry developments and changes in regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.
  20. Continuously evaluate and improve food and nutrition services to meet the changing needs and preferences of patients and staff.

Job Qualifications
  • Registered Dietitian (Rd) Or Certified Dietary Manager (Cdm) Certification Preferred.

  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Service Management, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role Within A Healthcare Food Service Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Standards Related To Food And Nutrition Services.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Departments And Stakeholders.
