- Develop and implement innovative strategies to promote healthy eating habits and improve access to nutritious food options for patients and staff.
- Oversee all aspects of food and nutrition programs, including menu planning, food purchasing, preparation, and service.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including dietary restrictions and food safety standards.
- Lead and manage a team of food service employees, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to develop and implement initiatives that align with the organization's goals and mission.
- Monitor and analyze data related to food and nutrition services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimize operations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure high-quality and cost-effective food options.
- Stay updated on current trends and research in food and nutrition, and integrate new knowledge and best practices into the organization's programs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other stakeholders about food and nutrition services, promoting understanding and awareness of the importance of healthy eating habits.
- Represent the organization in community outreach and education events related to food and nutrition, promoting the organization's mission and values.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills
Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition, Food Science, Or Related Field
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Food Service Management, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting
Registered Dietitian (Rd) Or Certified Dietary Manager (Cdm) Certification
Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Compliance Related To Food And Nutrition Services.
