- Oversee menu planning, ensuring the availability of nutritious and balanced meal options for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
- Manage the budget for food and nutrition services, making strategic decisions to maximize resources and minimize waste.
- Lead and develop a team of food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality services are consistently delivered.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of food and nutrition services within the organization.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in food and nutrition, and make recommendations for improvements or changes as needed.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and suppliers to ensure the availability of high-quality food products.
- Conduct regular evaluations and assessments of food and nutrition services to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Communicate and promote the importance of healthy eating habits and nutrition to patients, staff, and visitors through various channels and initiatives.
Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition, Food Service Management, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Food Service Management, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Regulations Pertaining To Food Service And Safety.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Manage And Motivate A Diverse Team.
Experience In Developing And Implementing Policies And Procedures To Ensure High Quality Food Service And Patient Satisfaction.
