Job Description

This includes developing and implementing strategies to improve food quality, managing budgets and resources, and leading a team of dedicated professionals.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field, along with at least 7 years of experience in food and nutrition services management.   1. Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of food and nutrition services within the organization.
  2. Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
  3. Lead a team of professionals, including hiring, training, and providing ongoing support and development.
  4. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards related to food and nutrition services.
  5. Collaborate with other departments and teams to promote a customer service mindset and enhance the overall patient experience.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in food and nutrition services to continually improve and innovate within the organization.
  7. Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure high-quality products and services.
  8. Develop and maintain policies and procedures for food and nutrition services, ensuring they align with the organization's mission and values.
  9. Monitor and analyze data related to food and nutrition services to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
  10. Foster a culture of diversity, innovation, and collaboration within the team and across the organization.
  11. Create and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment for all employees.
  12. Represent the organization in external meetings, conferences, and events related to food and nutrition services.
  13. Communicate regularly with senior leadership to provide updates on food and nutrition services and collaborate on strategic initiatives.
  14. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by promptly addressing any concerns or issues related to food and nutrition services.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the department.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or Related Field From An Accredited University.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role In Food And Nutrition Services, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Regulations Related To Food And Nutrition Services In Healthcare Facilities.

  • Strong Leadership And Management Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Oversee A Large Team And Multiple Operations.

  • Registered Dietitian (Rd) Or Certified Dietary Manager (Cdm) Certification Preferred.
