Diagnostic Ultrasound Sonographer

We are seeking an experienced, motivated and compassionate Diagnostic Ultrasound Sonographer to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. This individual will be responsible for providing high-quality ultrasounds, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and providing an exceptional patient experience.The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in diagnostic ultrasound and hold an ARDMS certification or equivalent. He or she must be a team player, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and be able to work independently. Responsibilities: • Perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging and interpretation of results in accordance with established protocols • Maintain a professional and compassionate attitude towards all patients and staff • Explain procedures to patients and provide emotional support to ensure their comfort and safety • Maintain accurate patient records and logs in accordance with hospital policies and procedures • Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care • Adhere to all standards of safety and regulatory compliance • Actively participate in continuing education and professional development activities • Maintain a professional demeanor at all times and adhere to the highest ethical standards
