
Diagnostic Ultrasound Sonographer
Kaiser Permanente is seeking an experienced and compassionate Diagnostic Ultrasound Sonographer to join our team. We are looking for an individual who is highly organized and has a valid certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams and providing superior service to our patients.The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with excellent customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with patients. You must also possess a positive attitude and strong critical-thinking skills. You should be able to work unsupervised and have an in-depth understanding of the principles of ultrasound imaging. Lastly, you should have knowledge of advanced diagnostic ultrasound techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality ultrasound exams with accuracy and precision.
- Provide superior customer service to patients and ensure their comfort throughout the exam.
- Build rapport with patients to ensure a positive experience.
- Utilize strong critical-thinking skills to interpret ultrasound images and make recommendations.
- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the principles of ultrasound imaging.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic ultrasound techniques to provide accurate results.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document all exams performed.
- Follow safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Adhere to Kaiser Permanente’s policies and procedures.
- Participate in continuing education and training to stay up-to-date on advances in the field.
Licensure In The State Of Practice
Completion Of An Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program
Ardms Certification In Abdomen And Ob/Gyn
Demonstrated Customer Service Skills
Ability To Communicate Effectively And Work Collaboratively With Physicians And Other Healthcare Professionals
Proficiency With Digital Imaging Systems
Basic Knowledge Of Ultrasound Physics And Instrumentation
Knowledge Of Safety Protocols And Standards Of Care.
