We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Diagnostic Ultrasound Sonographer to join Kaiser Permanente's team of healthcare professionals. This individual will be responsible for performing a range of ultrasound examinations, with the aim of helping physicians make informed decisions and providing excellent patient care. Our ideal candidate will have experience in a healthcare setting, a strong technical background in ultrasound imaging, and a professional demeanor. The successful applicant must possess the following qualifications: a current and valid certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS); a minimum of two years of experience working with ultrasound; and a valid driver’s license. Responsibilities:

  1. Perform a range of ultrasound examinations to assist physicians in making informed decisions and providing excellent patient care.
  2. Utilize the most up-to-date ultrasound technology and techniques.
  3. Maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions with patients, physicians, and other staff members.
  4. Follow safety protocols and maintain patient confidentiality.
  5. Process images and create accurate patient reports.
  6. Develop and maintain an understanding of new ultrasound technology and techniques.
  7. Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
  8. Adhere to industry standards and regulations.
  9. Ensure proper equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
  10. Maintain a neat and organized workspace.
