We are currently seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team in Tysons Corner on a part-time basis of 24 hours per week. As a Sonographer, you will play a vital role in our patients' healthcare journey by performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures and providing accurate and timely results. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced individual with a strong passion for patient care and a drive for excellence.   1. Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients with accuracy and attention to detail.
  2. Review and interpret medical history and physician requisitions to determine appropriate ultrasound procedures for each patient.
  3. Explain procedures to patients and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
  4. Position patients and operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  5. Monitor patients' vital signs and make necessary adjustments during procedures.
  6. Maintain patient records and ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  7. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide timely and accurate results.
  8. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  9. Continuously update knowledge and skills through training and education courses.
  10. Provide compassionate care to patients and maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
  11. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
  12. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  13. Troubleshoot equipment issues and report any malfunctions or necessary repairs.
  14. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and follow established protocols and guidelines.
  15. Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent the organization positively at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field

  • Certification From The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms)

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience As A Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

  • Proficiency In Operating And Troubleshooting Ultrasound Equipment

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills For Interacting With Patients And Healthcare Team Members.
