Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join the team at Kaiser Permanente. Our facility is dedicated to providing excellent patient care, and we are passionate about providing our patients with the best possible experience. This position will require someone with a patient-centered approach to their work and a commitment to providing the highest level of care. At Kaiser Permanente, our Diagnostic Imaging Technologist will be responsible for performing a wide variety of imaging examinations to assist our medical staff in diagnosing and treating our patients. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience as a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist and be registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Additionally, they must possess a valid state certification in Radiologic Technology. Candidates should also have experience with digital imaging and PACS systems, and be knowledgeable about clinical anatomy and physics. They should have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work calmly and efficiently in a high-pressure environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Perform a variety of imaging examinations to assist medical staff in diagnosing and treating patients.
  2. Maintain a patient-centered approach to work and provide the highest level of care.
  3. Maintain a minimum of two years of experience as a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist and be registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  4. Possess a valid state certification in Radiologic Technology.
  5. Have experience with digital imaging and PACS systems and be knowledgeable about clinical anatomy and physics.
  6. Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work calmly and efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
  7. Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities.
  8. Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, professional standards, and legal requirements.
  9. Follow established policies and procedures of the department.
  10. Maintain accurate records of patient images and data.
