  1. Perform dental cleanings and exams to maintain and improve patients' oral health.
  2. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for at-home care.
  3. Take and develop dental x-rays as needed.
  4. Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants to prevent tooth decay.
  5. Monitor and record patients' oral health status and report any abnormalities to the dentist.
  6. Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed.
  7. Assist the dentist with various procedures, including fillings and extractions.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sterilization of equipment and instruments.
  9. Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  10. Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols.
  11. Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
  12. Stay up-to-date with current trends and advancements in the dental field.
  13. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure patients feel comfortable and well-cared for during their visit.
  14. Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times.
  15. Attend continuing education courses and training to maintain licensure and improve skills.
  16. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  17. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  18. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  19. Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
  20. Other duties as assigned by the dentist or office manager.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Communication And Patient Education Skills

  • Current State License To Practice Dental Hygiene

  • Bachelor's Degree In Dental Hygiene From An Accredited Institution

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Clinical Dental Setting

  • Proficiency In Using Dental Software And Electronic Health Records
