Job Description

Kaiser Permanente is seeking an experienced and motivated Contracts Manager to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of contracting and legal principles, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. We are looking for an individual who is highly collaborative, with the ability to think critically and strategically in order to ensure accuracy and adherence to organization policies and procedures.The Contracts Manager will be responsible for managing contracts from negotiation through execution, as well as ensuring compliance with legal obligations. To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously. In addition, they must demonstrate a commitment to excellent customer service, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  1. Negotiate contracts with external stakeholders.
  2. Ensure contract compliance with applicable legal obligations.
  3. Monitor and review contracts throughout their duration.
  4. Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  5. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of contracting and legal principles.
  7. Create and implement processes to ensure accuracy and adherence to organization policies and procedures.
  8. Identify areas of improvement and develop solutions to optimize contract management processes.
  9. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure contract objectives are met.
  10. Prepare reports and presentations to share contract progress.
