- Develop and maintain relationships with community leaders, organizations, and stakeholders to promote Kaiser Permanente's mission and services.
- Plan and execute community outreach events, initiatives, and programs to engage with and educate community members about Kaiser Permanente's healthcare services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and address community needs and concerns, and communicate them to higher management.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify and understand community demographics, trends, and issues that may impact Kaiser Permanente's operations and reputation.
- Serve as a liaison between Kaiser Permanente and community partners, responding to inquiries and addressing any issues or concerns.
- Create and distribute communication materials, including press releases, social media posts, and newsletters, to promote Kaiser Permanente's community involvement and initiatives.
- Monitor and track community relations efforts, including attendance and feedback from events, and provide reports to management.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in community relations and public relations to continuously improve Kaiser Permanente's outreach strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all community relations efforts.
- Represent Kaiser Permanente at community meetings, events, and functions, acting as an ambassador for the organization.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for partnership and collaboration with community organizations and businesses to expand Kaiser Permanente's reach and impact.
- Actively participate in community service and volunteer activities to demonstrate Kaiser Permanente's commitment to giving back to the community.
- Uphold Kaiser Permanente's values of diversity, inclusion, and equity in all community relations efforts.
- Provide support and guidance to other team members in community relations efforts and initiatives.
Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Public Relations, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Community Relations, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Community Outreach Strategies And Techniques.
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, Including Experience With Public Speaking And Presenting To Diverse Audiences.
Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Community Organizations, Leaders, And Stakeholders.
