  1. Develop and implement strategies to effectively manage and address potential issues that may arise within the organization.
  2. Monitor and analyze potential issues and trends in the healthcare industry that may impact the organization.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential issues and develop proactive solutions.
  4. Act as a spokesperson for the organization in times of crisis or media inquiries.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media outlets, community organizations, and government agencies.
  6. Create and disseminate timely and accurate communications materials, including press releases, statements, and social media posts.
  7. Serve as a resource for internal teams on crisis communication protocols and strategies.
  8. Conduct media training for key employees to ensure consistent messaging and effective communication in times of crisis.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in issues management and crisis communication.
  10. Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all communications align with organizational policies and procedures.
  11. Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on potential issues and crisis management efforts.
  12. Proactively identify and mitigate potential reputational risks for the organization.
  13. Represent the organization at industry events and conferences as needed.
  14. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the communications team.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Communications, Public Relations, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Communications, Specifically In Issues Management, Crisis Communication, And Reputation Management.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Mitigating Complex And High-Profile Issues And Crises.

  • Strong Understanding Of The Healthcare Industry, Including Current Trends And Challenges.

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Diverse Stakeholders, Including Executives, Media, And Community Representatives.
