Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Clinician to join our Emergency Psychiatric Services team at Kaiser Permanente. Our team provides individuals and families with access to high-quality and timely care in a variety of settings. As a Clinician, you will be an integral part of our team, providing evidence-based treatments and interventions to help our patients reach their fullest potential.The ideal candidate should have an advanced degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field, plus clinical licensure in the state where providing services (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD). Furthermore, you should be an outstanding communicator, have the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, and be comfortable working with people from diverse backgrounds. The right individual for this role should have a true passion for helping others and a commitment to providing the highest quality care and services.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide evidence-based treatments and interventions to help patients reach their fullest potential.
  2. Maintain clinical licensure in the state where providing services.
  3. Communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.
  4. Manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  5. Participate in team meetings and trainings.
  6. Document all patient interactions and treatments.
  7. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  8. Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure positive patient outcomes.
  9. Provide crisis intervention services as needed.
  10. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
