Job Description

At Kaiser Permanente, we are looking for a Clinical, Quality & Education Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate for this role should have extensive knowledge of clinical, quality, and education regulations and standards, and be passionate about driving excellence in healthcare delivery. This role requires an individual who is an excellent communicator, highly organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. The Clinical, Quality & Education Consultant should have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as healthcare administration, public health, or education, as well as at least five years of experience in healthcare quality and education. Professional certification such as Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or Certification in Healthcare Quality and Management (CHQM) is preferred but not required. The successful candidate should also have experience with project management, data analysis, and a strong knowledge of healthcare technology. The Clinical, Quality & Education Consultant will be part of a team that is committed to excellence in healthcare delivery, and will be responsible for providing guidance and expertise in the areas of clinical and quality improvement, education, and professional development. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategies for clinical, quality, and educational improvement initiatives that adhere to all relevant regulations and standards.
  2. Analyze and interpret data to evaluate the effectiveness of improvement initiatives.
  3. Develop and manage project timelines and budgets in order to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  4. Monitor clinical care practices and ensure that they are in compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
  5. Identify opportunities for quality improvement and provide guidance on how to implement new initiatives.
  6. Create and deliver educational materials to healthcare staff to ensure that they are up to date on the latest regulations and standards.
  7. Act as a mentor and coach to healthcare staff in order to promote professional development.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders in order to ensure that Kaiser Permanente remains at the forefront of healthcare excellence.
  9. Stay up to date on healthcare technology and identify new and innovative ways to improve patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing

  • Health Sciences Or Related Field
