10. Serve as a resource and consultant for hospital staff and families on child development, coping strategies, and therapeutic techniques.
11. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and families, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
12. Provide emotional support and guidance to families in crisis, including bereavement support when necessary.
13. Participate in hospital events and activities to promote awareness of the child life program and engage with the community.
14. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and ethical standards in the delivery of care.
15. Continuously evaluate and improve child life services to meet the changing needs of patients and families.
