Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Charge RN to join the Kaiser Permanente Hospital team. The Charge RN will provide outstanding leadership and healthcare delivery to our patients and staff. The successful candidate will have a passion for patient care and a commitment to excellence, as well as a strong understanding of the principles and practices of acute patient care.The ideal candidate should have an active RN license, a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field, and at least two years of experience as a registered nurse in an acute care setting. Additionally, the successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide outstanding leadership and healthcare delivery to patients and staff.
  2. Maintain an active RN license and stay up-to-date on current nursing practices and procedures.
  3. Monitor and review patient care plans to ensure the highest quality of care.
  4. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards of practice.
  5. Oversee the daily operations of the nursing team, including scheduling, staffing, and conflict resolution.
  6. Develop strategies to improve patient care and safety.
  7. Monitor patient progress and provide timely feedback to staff and physicians.
  8. Manage multiple tasks and prioritize patient care needs.
  9. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  10. Participate in hospital committees as necessary.
  11. Participate in continuing education programs to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the nursing field.
