
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
We are looking for an experienced and talented Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our Kaiser Permanente team. Our ideal candidate will bring a high level of technical expertise and a caring attitude to our Anesthesia Department. The successful applicant will provide comprehensive anesthesia care to patients of all ages in a variety of clinical settings.The successful candidate must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and of a CRNA program approved by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Education Programs (COA). They must be certified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) and licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice. Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred.At Kaiser Permanente, we are committed to providing quality anesthesia care to our patients and their families. Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia care to patients of all ages in a variety of clinical settings.
- Adhere to protocols and standards of practice as set forth by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
- Administer medications, anesthetics, and fluids as prescribed by the physician.
- Monitor patient's vital signs and adjust medications and anesthetics as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to ensure the delivery of quality patient care.
- Monitor the patient's physical and emotional condition during the procedure and take appropriate action when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Provide patient education and support prior to, during, and after the procedure.
- Remain up to date with the latest advances in anesthesia practice and technology.
Current Licensure As A Registered Nurse With A Valid
Unrestricted License In The State In Which Practicing
Successful Completion Of An Accredited Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program
Current Certification By The National Board Of Certification And Recertification For Nurse Anesthetists (Nbcrna)
Knowledge Of Anesthesiology Principles And Practices
Demonstrated Proficiency In The Administration Of Anesthesia And Related Services
