Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution: A Crna At Kaiser Permanente Must Have A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing To Be Considered For The Job.
Current Rn License In The State Of Practice: In Addition To A Bachelor's Degree, A Crna Must Also Have A Current Rn License In The State Where They Will Be Working.
Graduate Degree In Nurse Anesthesia: Crnas Must Have Completed A Graduate Program In Nurse Anesthesia, Which Typically Takes 2-3 Years To Complete.
Certification From The National Board Of Certification And Recertification For Nurse Anesthetists (Nbcrna): This Certification Ensures That The Crna Has Met The National Standards For Practice And Has The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Provide Safe And Effective Anesthesia Care.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Critical Care Or Anesthesia: Kaiser Permanente Requires Crnas To Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience In A Critical Care Or Anesthesia Setting Before Applying For A Position. This Ensures That The Crna Has A Strong Foundation Of Clinical Experience And Is Able To Handle Complex Cases.
