  1. Provide compassionate and skilled care to women throughout their pregnancy, labor, and postpartum period.
  2. Conduct initial prenatal assessments and ongoing prenatal care for pregnant patients.
  3. Perform regular gynecological exams and provide family planning counseling.
  4. Educate patients on various aspects of women's health, including pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  6. Monitor and assess fetal development and maternal health during pregnancy.
  7. Attend deliveries and provide support to patients during labor and delivery.
  8. Provide postpartum care and education to new mothers and newborns.
  9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
  10. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
  11. Adhere to all legal and ethical standards of practice.
  12. Keep current with advancements in midwifery and women's healthcare.
  13. Foster a supportive and collaborative work environment with colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
  14. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
  15. Meet all requirements for maintaining certification and licensure as a Certified Nurse Midwife.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Master's Degree In Nurse-Midwifery From An Accredited University.

  • Active Certification From The American Midwifery Certification Board (Amcb).

  • State Licensure As A Certified Nurse Midwife.

  • At Least 2 Years Of Experience In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Midwifery Role.
