  1. Perform all duties in accordance with Kaiser Permanente's mission of providing high-quality, affordable healthcare services to the community.
  2. Operate and maintain all equipment used in the sterilization and processing of medical equipment and supplies.
  3. Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  4. Inspect, test, and assemble medical equipment to ensure it meets sterilization and quality standards.
  5. Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
  6. Monitor and document all sterilization processes to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  7. Adhere to all infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment.
  8. Communicate effectively with team members, healthcare staff, and other departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of equipment and supplies.
  9. Continuously improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and quality of services.
  10. Attend training and educational programs to maintain and enhance job skills and knowledge.
  11. Provide exceptional customer service and respond promptly to any inquiries or requests.
  12. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all processed equipment and supplies.
  13. Collaborate with other team members to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  14. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
  15. Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education

  • Completion Of A Central Service Technician Training Program Or Certification

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Central Service Technician In A Healthcare Setting

  • Knowledge Of Sterilization Techniques, Infection Control Practices, And Medical Terminology

  • Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team, With Strong Communication And Organizational Skills
