
Cardiac Sonographer
We are currently looking for an experienced and highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. The Cardiac Sonographer is a critical member of our team, responsible for performing cardiac ultrasound tests for diagnosis and treatment of heart conditions. We are looking for an individual who is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to our patients and is committed to excellence. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of two years of experience in cardiac sonography and hold a valid American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification. Additionally, the successful candidate should possess exceptional communication and problem solving skills. Responsibilities:
- Perform cardiac ultrasound tests on patients for diagnosis and treatment of heart conditions.
- Ensure that the highest quality of care is provided to patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain ARDMS certification and stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in cardiac sonography.
- Utilize problem solving skills to address any issues that may arise during procedures.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations established by Kaiser Permanente.
- Follow all policies and procedures as outlined by the department.
- Maintain accurate records of patient encounters and results.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide the best care possible.
- Participate in continuing education and training opportunities to remain knowledgeable about the latest trends in the field.
Bachelor’s Degree In Sonography
Cardiac Technology Or Related Field
American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms) Certification In Adult Echocardiography
Must Be Registered With The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) With An Active Cardiac Interventional Technology (Cit) Certification
