Job Description

  1. Design and develop new medical imaging equipment and technology to improve patient care and outcomes.
  2. Conduct research and stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in medical imaging technology to inform equipment selection and design.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including physicians, technicians, and other engineers, to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of medical imaging equipment.
  4. Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on existing medical imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  5. Conduct quality control testing to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  6. Provide technical support and training to staff on the proper use and maintenance of medical imaging equipment.
  7. Develop and maintain documentation and manuals for medical imaging equipment, including user guides and service manuals.
  8. Analyze and evaluate equipment performance data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for upgrades or replacements.
  9. Keep abreast of emerging trends and innovations in medical imaging technology and make recommendations for their integration into the organization.
  10. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source and procure equipment and negotiate contracts.
  11. Maintain a deep understanding of biomedical engineering principles and apply them to the design and maintenance of medical imaging equipment.
  12. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations when handling and working with medical imaging equipment.
  13. Participate in departmental meetings and provide expertise and insights on medical imaging technology.
  14. Represent the organization at industry conferences and events to stay informed on the latest developments and advancements in medical imaging technology.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures related to medical imaging equipment to enhance efficiency and quality of care.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Biomedical Engineering Or Related Field

  • Proficiency In Medical Imaging Software And Equipment

  • Experience Working With Various Medical Imaging Modalities (Mri, Ct, Ultrasound)

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Compliance Standards

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills For Troubleshooting And Optimizing Medical Imaging Systems.
