  1. Develop, maintain, and enhance medical imaging equipment for Kaiser Permanente.
  2. Conduct research and stay up-to-date on cutting-edge technology and advancements in medical imaging.
  3. Collaborate with other members of the biomedical engineering team to ensure equipment meets quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  4. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with medical imaging equipment, and propose and implement solutions.
  5. Participate in the planning, installation, and testing of new medical imaging equipment.
  6. Train and educate staff on proper usage and maintenance of medical imaging equipment.
  7. Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance of medical imaging equipment.
  8. Work closely with medical staff to understand their needs and provide technical support and assistance.
  9. Keep detailed records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
  10. Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to medical imaging.
  11. Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of equipment and supplies.
  12. Attend training and professional development opportunities to stay current on industry trends and advancements.
  13. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines when working with medical imaging equipment.
  14. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
  15. Represent Kaiser Permanente in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Biomedical Engineering Or Related Field, With A Focus On Medical Imaging Technology.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience Working With Medical Imaging Equipment, Such As Mri, Ct, And Ultrasound Machines.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages And Software Used In Medical Image Analysis And Processing.

  • Strong Understanding Of Medical Imaging Principles And Radiation Safety Protocols.

  • Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Healthcare Professionals And Other Team Members.
