  1. Administer Benefits Programs: The Benefits Administration Consultant will be responsible for managing, administering, and communicating all employee benefits programs offered by Kaiser Permanente, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.
  2. Ensure Compliance: It is the responsibility of the Benefits Administration Consultant to ensure all benefits programs are compliant with company policies, state and federal regulations, and any other relevant laws.
  3. Manage Employee Inquiries: The Benefits Administration Consultant will serve as the main point of contact for employees regarding their benefits, answering any questions and providing assistance with enrollment, claims, and other related inquiries.
  4. Process Benefits Enrollment and Changes: This role will involve managing the enrollment process for new employees and facilitating any changes to benefits for existing employees, such as updating coverage or adding dependents.
  5. Educate Employees: The Benefits Administration Consultant will be responsible for creating and conducting employee education programs to help them understand their benefits options and make informed decisions.
  6. Coordinate Open Enrollment: The Benefits Administration Consultant will lead the open enrollment process, including developing communication plans, organizing enrollment meetings, and ensuring all necessary materials are available for employees.
  7. Collaborate with Vendors: This role will involve working closely with benefits vendors, such as insurance companies and retirement plan providers, to ensure smooth administration of benefits programs and resolve any issues that may arise.
  8. Maintain Accurate Records: The Benefits Administration Consultant will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee benefits records, including enrollment data and claims information.
  9. Analyze Benefits Data: This position will require analyzing benefits data to identify trends, evaluate the effectiveness of benefits plans, and make recommendations for improvements.
  10. Stay Informed: The Benefits Administration Consultant will stay informed about industry trends and changes in benefits laws and regulations to ensure Kaiser Permanente's benefits offerings remain competitive and compliant.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Benefits Administration, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Employee Benefits, Such As Erisa, Aca, And Hipaa.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret And Communicate Complex Benefit Information To Employees.

  • Experience With Hris Systems, Specifically In Benefits Management, And Proficiency In Microsoft Excel.
