  1. Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to diagnose and treat mental health disorders in pediatric patients.
  2. Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each patient, incorporating evidence-based practices and techniques.
  3. Provide individual, group, and family therapy to children and adolescents, addressing a variety of behavioral and emotional issues.
  4. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
  5. Educate and support caregivers and families in understanding and managing their child's mental health needs.
  6. Monitor and track patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  7. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions and treatment plans.
  8. Stay up-to-date on the latest research and advancements in pediatric psychology, incorporating them into clinical practice.
  9. Participate in case conferences and team meetings to discuss treatment plans and progress.
  10. Adhere to all ethical and legal guidelines in providing psychological care to pediatric patients.
  11. Collaborate with community resources and organizations to provide support and resources for patients and families.
  12. Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  13. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including confidentiality and patient rights.
  14. Promote a positive and supportive work environment by fostering effective communication and teamwork.
  15. Demonstrate a commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality care to pediatric patients and families.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctoral Degree In Psychology Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current License To Practice Psychology In The State Of Employment.

  • Experience Working With Pediatric Patients In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Specialized Training And Experience In Behavioral Medicine, Including Interventions For Chronic Illness And Pain Management.

  • Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Treatment Approaches For Pediatric Behavioral Health Conditions, Such As Anxiety, Depression, And Adhd.
