- Develop and implement treatment plans based on thorough assessments of patients' needs and goals.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, documenting progress and any changes in treatment plans.
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
- Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in the field of behavioral health to continuously improve treatment methods.
- Advocate for patients and their mental health needs within the healthcare system.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and other professional development activities.
- Continuously assess and monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and their families to build trust and rapport.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of patient care.
- Serve as a resource and mentor for less experienced therapists and staff.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of behavioral health services.
- Embrace a diverse and inclusive approach to patient care and demonstrate cultural competency in all interactions.
Master's Degree In Counseling, Psychology, Or Social Work From An Accredited Institution.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Providing Therapy Or Counseling Services In A Behavioral Health Setting.
State Licensure As A Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Lcsw), Licensed Marriage And Family Therapist (Lmft), Or Licensed Professional Counselor (Lpc).
Knowledge And Experience With Evidence-Based Treatment Modalities For Various Mental Health Conditions.
Ability To Collaborate And Work Effectively With A Multidisciplinary Team, Including Physicians And Other Healthcare Professionals, To Provide Comprehensive Care To Patients.
