- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' hearing and balance, including interpretation of results and diagnosis of disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs and goals.
- Utilize advanced technology and equipment to perform audiological tests and procedures, and accurately document all findings.
- Provide counseling and education to patients and their families about hearing loss, communication strategies, and treatment options.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and therapists, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation, adhering to all privacy and confidentiality regulations.
- Stay current on industry developments, best practices, and new technologies in audiology to continuously improve patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
- Foster a positive and welcoming environment for patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions with empathy and professionalism.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in the practice of audiology, including following all Kaiser Permanente policies and procedures.

- Perform other duties as assigned by supervising audiologist, department head, or healthcare leadership.
Doctoral Degree In Audiology From An Accredited University
Valid State License And Certification In Audiology From The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (Asha)
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience In Audiology, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting
Knowledge And Proficiency In Conducting Diagnostic Tests And Assessments For Hearing And Balance Disorders
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals And Provide Patient Education And Counseling.
