We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant, Release Of Information at Kaiser Permanente! The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and have a passion for providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate and process timely, accurate, and secure release of patient information in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
  2. Ensure timely and accurate processing of medical records requests.
  3. Maintain a high degree of accuracy when processing medical records requests.
  4. Respond to customer inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  5. Follow up with customers to ensure requests are being fulfilled.
  6. Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
  7. Monitor and maintain HIPAA privacy and security standards.
  8. Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
  9. Maintain accurate documentation of all requests and responses.
  10. Utilize Microsoft Office applications to complete tasks.
