Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized Assistant Manager - Ambulatory Care to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. In this role, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction for the Ambulatory Care department. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve patient experience, services, and processes.To be successful in this role, you must have a bachelor’s degree in health care management, business administration, or a related field. Additionally, you should have at least 5 years of experience in health care operations, preferably in ambulatory care. You should also have strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to be an effective team leader.If you’re a motivated and organized professional looking to make a positive impact in the health care field, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage daily operations of the Ambulatory Care department, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing guidance.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to improve patient experience, services, and processes.
  3. Recruit, hire, and train new staff members.
  4. Monitor patient satisfaction levels and address any issues or complaints.
  5. Develop and review departmental policies and procedures.
  6. Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback.
  7. Manage the department’s budget and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  8. Monitor and analyze departmental data to identify areas for improvement.
  9. Maintain good relationships with external partners and vendors.
  10. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the efficient delivery of services.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Standards
