Assistant, Imaging

We are looking for a motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Assistant, Imaging at Kaiser Permanente. The successful candidate will be part of an innovative and collaborative environment where they can grow their skills and knowledge, and help us provide outstanding healthcare to our members.The Assistant, Imaging is responsible for providing administrative support to the Imaging department, including scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and providing customer service to members. This individual must have an excellent eye for detail, a customer service focus, and a passion for providing quality healthcare. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should have the following qualifications: • High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred• At least two years of administrative and/or customer service experience• Knowledge of medical terminology• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment• Excellent organizational and communication skills• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other related software• A commitment to providing outstanding customer service

Responsibilities:

1. Schedule patient appointments for the Imaging Department in a timely and efficient manner.
2. Verify patient insurance coverage for Imaging services.
3. Provide customer service to members, including answering questions and providing information to ensure a positive experience.
4. Maintain accurate records related to Imaging services and patient information.
5. Assist with filing, faxing, and other administrative tasks as needed.
6. Utilize various software programs, including Microsoft Office, to support Imaging operations.
7. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and Kaiser Permanente policies and procedures.
8. Assist the Imaging Department with other tasks and projects as needed.
9. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
10. Demonstrate a commitment to providing quality healthcare and customer service.
