Job Description

The Assistant Clinical Director - Emergency at Kaiser Permanente is an integral part of the healthcare team and is responsible for providing support for the overall management of the Emergency Department. This position requires a passionate and dedicated individual who is committed to providing the highest quality of care to our patients. The successful candidate should have a deep knowledge of emergency medicine and should be comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications: A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited program, a valid California Medical License, American Board of Emergency Medicine Certification, and at least five years of clinical experience in emergency medicine. Additionally, the successful candidate should have the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient safety and quality initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide support for the overall management of the Emergency Department.
  2. Ensure the highest quality of care for patients.
  3. Possess a deep knowledge of emergency medicine and be comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  4. Maintain a valid California Medical License and American Board of Emergency Medicine Certification.
  5. Have at least five years of clinical experience in emergency medicine.
  6. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
  7. Possess excellent communication skills.
  8. Commit to patient safety and quality initiatives.
