  1. Design and Develop Enterprise Health Plan Applications: The primary responsibility of the Architect Applications (Enterprise Health Plan Architect) will be to design, develop and implement enterprise health plan applications that meet the needs and requirements of Kaiser Permanente.
  2. Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: The Architect Applications will work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, engineers, project managers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, identify solutions and implement new applications.
  3. Evaluate and Improve Current Applications: The Architect Applications will also be responsible for evaluating and improving existing enterprise health plan applications to ensure they are efficient, user-friendly, and aligned with industry best practices.
  4. Keep Up-to-date with Emerging Technologies: Staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends will be a crucial responsibility of the Enterprise Health Plan Architect. This will allow for the implementation of innovative solutions that drive the advancement of healthcare technology.
  5. Ensure Application Security and Compliance: The Architect Applications will play a key role in ensuring the security and compliance of our enterprise health plan applications. This includes implementing necessary security measures and adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
  6. Monitor and Troubleshoot Applications: The Enterprise Health Plan Architect will be responsible for monitoring the performance of our applications and proactively troubleshooting any issues to ensure optimal functionality and user experience.
  7. Provide Technical Guidance and Support: As the subject matter expert for our enterprise health plan applications, the Architect Applications will provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and external partners as needed.
  8. Develop and Maintain Documentation: The Architect Applications will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation for our enterprise health plan applications, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and user guides.
  9. Participate in Continuous Improvement: The Architect Applications will actively participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance our applications and processes. This may include identifying and implementing new tools, processes, and methodologies.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Architecture, Computer Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Enterprise-Level Architecture Design And Implementation, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Health Plan Operations And Regulations, With A Focus On Compliance And Security.

  • Proficiency In Enterprise Architecture Frameworks Such As Togaf Or Zachman, And Experience With Architectural Tools And Methodologies.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders To Develop And Implement Architectural Solutions.
