At Kaiser Permanente, we are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as an Appointment Clerk (Bilingual Spanish). This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented and customer-centric individual who is passionate about providing excellent patient care. The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and have the ability to effectively communicate in both English and Spanish. The Appointment Clerk will be responsible for managing all aspects of patient scheduling and appointment management, and will play a key role in ensuring that all Kaiser Permanente patients have access to timely and accurate appointment scheduling in both English and Spanish. Qualifications for this position include: High school diploma or equivalent; knowledge of medical terminology; minimum of two years of experience working in a healthcare setting; excellent customer service and communication skills; proficiency in both English and Spanish; and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team. Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all aspects of patient scheduling and appointment management in both English and Spanish.
  2. Provide excellent customer service to patients and ensure timely and accurate appointment scheduling.
  3. Handle scheduling inquiries and resolve any scheduling issues.
  4. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
  5. Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of data.
  6. Communicate with staff and patients to ensure a smooth and efficient appointment scheduling process.
  7. Liaise with other departments to coordinate patient appointment scheduling.
  8. Utilize medical terminology to accurately document patient information.
  9. Handle incoming phone calls and provide exceptional customer service.
  10. Monitor appointment schedules and adjust as needed.
