  1. Assist anesthesiologists and nurses in providing safe and effective anesthesia services to patients.
  2. Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies.
  3. Monitor and document patient vital signs during anesthesia procedures.
  4. Ensure all equipment and supplies are properly sterilized and maintained.
  5. Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow.
  6. Educate patients and families on anesthesia procedures and post-operative care.
  7. Stay up-to-date on new anesthesia technology and procedures.
  8. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  9. Maintain accurate inventory of supplies and equipment.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
  11. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  12. Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  13. Provide excellent customer service and ensure patient satisfaction.
  14. Adhere to all Kaiser Permanente policies and procedures.
  15. Attend trainings and conferences to further develop skills and knowledge.
  16. Flexibility to work in different specialties and departments as needed.
  17. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  18. Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  19. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification In Anesthesia Technology: Candidates Must Have A Valid Certification In Anesthesia Technology From An Accredited Program.

  • Experience In A Clinical Setting: A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As An Anesthesia Technician In A Clinical Setting Is Required.

  • Knowledge Of Anesthesia Equipment And Procedures: Candidates Must Possess A Strong Understanding Of Various Anesthesia Equipment And Procedures, Including But Not Limited To Ventilators, Monitoring Devices, And Medication Administration.

  • Attention To Detail: Anesthesia Technicians Must Possess Excellent Attention To Detail In Order To Accurately Monitor Patient Vital Signs And Assist With Procedures.

  • Teamwork And Communication Skills: The Ability To Work Well In A Team And Communicate Effectively With Healthcare Professionals Is Essential For This Role. This Includes The Ability To Follow Directions And Provide Clear And Concise Updates On Patient Status.
