  1. Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment, ensuring functionality and cleanliness at all times.
  2. Assist Anesthesiologist in administering anesthesia to patients, following strict protocols and safety procedures.
  3. Monitor patient's vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the Anesthesiologist.
  4. Document all procedures and medications accurately and in a timely manner.
  5. Set up and maintain a sterile field in the operating room.
  6. Communicate effectively with other healthcare team members to ensure smooth and efficient procedures.
  7. Provide support to patients before and after anesthesia, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  8. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  9. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on best practices and advancements in anesthesia technology.
  10. Maintain a safe and organized work environment, following infection control and safety protocols.
  11. Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and professionalism in all patient interactions.
  12. Collaborate with other Anesthesia Technicians and healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
  13. Assist with the transportation of patients to and from the operating room.
  14. Maintain inventory of anesthesia supplies and equipment, restocking as needed.
  15. Keep accurate records of all procedures and medications administered.
  16. Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working As An Anesthesia Technician In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Certified Anesthesia Technician (Cer.a.t.) Credential Through The American Society Of Anesthesia Technologists And Technicians (Asatt).

  • Knowledge Of Equipment Maintenance, Troubleshooting And Calibration Procedures Related To Anesthesia Equipment.

  • Ability To Assist In The Preparation And Maintenance Of Anesthesia Supplies And Equipment For Surgical Procedures.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Anesthesia Team, Surgeons, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
