  1. Assist anesthesiologists and nurses in the operating room to provide safe and effective anesthesia administration.
  2. Set up and prepare anesthesia equipment and supplies for surgical procedures.
  3. Monitor and maintain anesthesia equipment, ensuring it is functioning properly.
  4. Prepare and maintain patient monitoring devices, such as oxygen, pulse oximeters, and blood pressure cuffs.
  5. Assist with patient positioning and securing during procedures.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following infection control and safety protocols.
  7. Communicate effectively with the surgical team to ensure proper coordination and collaboration.
  8. Anticipate the needs of the anesthesiologist and nursing staff to ensure efficient and smooth procedures.
  9. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  10. Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.
  11. Document all procedures and maintain accurate records.
  12. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay updated on new techniques and equipment.
  13. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to identify and resolve any issues or concerns related to patient care.
  14. Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
  15. Foster a positive and professional work environment by demonstrating teamwork and a positive attitude.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Anesthesia Technician (Cer.a.t) Or Certified Anesthesia Technologist (Cer.a.t.t) From A Recognized Institution.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience As An Anesthesia Technician In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Anatomy, And Pharmacology Related To Anesthesia.

  • Strong Understanding Of Equipment And Supplies Used In Anesthesia Procedures, Including Troubleshooting And Maintenance.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment, With Attention To Detail And Excellent Communication Skills.
