We are currently seeking an Addiction Counselor, Scheduled On-Call for our Brookside Residential facility in Clackamas.   1. Provide high-quality, compassionate care to individuals struggling with addiction at our Brookside Residential facility in Clackamas.
  2. Utilize your expertise and guidance to support our members in overcoming their challenges and achieving lasting recovery.
  3. Demonstrate a strong understanding of addiction treatment and utilize evidence-based practices to provide effective care.
  4. Communicate effectively with members, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all patient interactions and treatment plans.
  6. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  7. Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to address various aspects of addiction.
  8. Foster a supportive and non-judgmental environment for members to openly discuss their struggles and work towards recovery.
  9. Continuously evaluate and adjust treatment plans based on member progress and needs.
  10. Adhere to ethical and professional standards, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  11. Stay current on industry developments and participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge.
  12. Demonstrate a compassionate and empathetic demeanor towards members and their families.
  13. Promote the mission and values of Kaiser Permanente in all interactions with members, colleagues, and the community.
  14. Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
  15. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by actively participating in team meetings and providing support to colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Social Work, Counseling Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working With Individuals Struggling With Addiction And Substance Abuse.

  • Certification Or Licensure In Addiction Counseling, Such As Certified Alcohol And Drug Counselor (Cadc) Or Licensed Addiction Counselor (Lac).

  • Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Treatment Modalities And Ability To Create And Implement Individualized Treatment Plans.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Diverse Population And Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Team.
